Return To Azeroth

Well, I'm back playing WoW after taking a 2 months break (believe me, I need a break!). This also means, my supervillain on Rogue Isle will be on a hiatus for the time being.

Anyway, a return to Azeroth also means a reunion with my friends in SycK, a Horde Smolderthorn Guild. Its great to get a chance to raid again with friends and guildies.

Infact, I never thought Mannorothe would get this far in the game, raiding Black Wing Lair and The Temple of Anh'Qiraj (AQ40)! I mean, I'm a balance spec'd druid! OOMKIN!?!? Bah, never again, since all druids have innervate now :)

Here's Mannorothe at Nefarian.

Avenger! Go forth!

"Yep, that's my Avenger and his pal, the molten giant"

Just thought I'd drop a line or two regarding this new obsession of mine (yes, its another PC game...lol!). Anyway, if anyone enjoys Diablo, then Titan Quest will be just as enjoyable, if not more so. The graphics are sharp. The gameplay mechanics are sound. The setting is familiar. My mouse is already feeling the strain of yet another click-fest....

Mayhem and Carnage on Rogue Island!

Mwahahaha....my infamous criminal career begins on Rogue Island in the MMOG City of Villains from Cryptic Studios. The whole city reeks of the evil and villainy that holds the city in a vice-like grip, giving a sense of utter despair and hopelessness to the goody two-shoe citizenry and their self-procliamed protector, the Heroes of Paragon City! (bleeaaghh).

Look for the evil Mastermind robot - Battledrone X1 and his robotic minions on Protector server!

I'm baaaack! (Beating the WoW addiction)

Heh, yeah! Its good to be back! Boy, it was a real struggle, but I think I can finally get over it. Get over the addiction for the greatest MMO this planet has ever seen.Phew!

"Azeroth will not claim my soul!"

Anyway, my son is almost 9months old now. Boy, is he a bundle of joy! I can't believe I missed so many nights playing with him. Sigh! *goes dewey eyed*. Mommy is looking pretty great to. Looks like pregnancy has been kind to her figure :) Now, its daddy and the bulging tummy that needs to workout.

Anyway, I won't leave Azeroth for good. I got good friends there. A bunch of SycKos who've kept me company online ingame and offline as well. I think there's a bit more stuff for Mannorothe to do in Azeroth. For the moment thought, I'm slowing down the pace.

I can't believe how many other good PC & PSP games I've passed over for WoW. Now at least, I can get back to them and to the other stuff I enjoy doing.

For the Horde!

Guilty!

Hehe...I admit, I'm guilty of not updating my blog! Yeah, there, I said it. Satisfied?

Althought, having said that, I wonder if I should point out that;

1) I am not a habitual blogger
2) I will never be addicted to posting online blogs
3) What do you care? Its my blog....
4) Hmm, should I write something, or shouldn't I?

Some updates are due;

My kid is a healthy bouncing 4month old now. Recently had his shots and is suffering a bout of fever (Editor: seems ok today). He's becoming more involved with his surroundings and is ever so eager to say something (in his googely baby talk). Of course, doting Grandparents abound...:)

A close friend of mine recently tied the knot. When he was renting with me, he was with another girl. Believe you not, that was just over a year ago. Within that short space of time, he met some else, got engaged relatively quickly and is now married to someone I don't even know :) Gosh, isn't love great? It makes a person go! With a mission! All I can say is, Best Wishes to the newlyweds!

My sister-in-law (yes, the one in Robin Hood land) went on a skiing trip and sent back photos. Gosh, sure brings back the memories (somewhat painful as I recall). Seeing the snow and all...it almost made me wish I was back over there. Then I remember the dreary british weather and I laugh.....hum dee dum dee dum

Yay, my Tauren Druid made it to lvl46! I'm beginning to enter the end game section of WoW and are beginning to meet more powerful opponents and higher level players (Editor: heh, when have they ever been lees powerful?) I'm aiming to get to lvl50 before the CNY holidays so I can join my friends in the uber instances and raids. Drop by my guild's forums (www.syck.tk) to see how things are going on Smolderthorn.

I'm watching the entire SW: Clone Wars anime series on my PSP. I missed the original broadcast over satellite TV last year, so I'm glad to be able to finally view the series in its entirety.

Stay tuned!
